Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 break into the top ten
While the top three remain unchanged once again this week, leaving Fortnite, Call of Duty, and Minecraft comfortably holding onto their spots, the rest of the top ten has had quite the shake-up. Off the back of the successful TV show, Fallout 4 has managed to slip into fourth — the Fallout 4 achievements have been fixed now, as well — pushing Rainbow Six Siege into fifth. Then, hot on the heels of its single-player sibling, Fallout 76 has climbed into sixth, pushing EA Sport's FC 24, Roblox, Grand Theft Auto 5, and Destiny into seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth, respectively.Other than Overwatch 2 and Forza Horizon 5 holding onto their 12th and 14th positions, the next ten games have dropped a spot each due to the top ten shake-up. Then we see Halo: The Master Chief Collection rise one spot into 20th to make room for a spectacular first entry into the top 40 for Fallout: New Vegas in 21st, followed by Dead Island 2 in 22nd, which has climbed five spots following the launch of its Sola DLC last week. Further on, Ark: Survival Ascended, Palworld, and Forza Motorsport have all dropped a space to make room for Grounded's re-entry at 24th, presumably due to the rollout of its Fully Yoked update.
We then see Orcs Must Die! 3 make its top 40 debut in 28th after it joined Xbox Game Pass last week. Interestingly, while Shadow of the Tomb Raider has been in Game Pass for almost two weeks, it's managed to climb three spots into 30th, so players are clearly still loving Crystal Dynamic's adventure game. We then see another shake-up of games due to FIFA 23 climbing two spots into 32nd followed by yet more top 40 debuts from Fallout 3 in 33rd and then NHL 24 in 39th. The chart is then rounded out with Starfield reappearing in 40th.
