Easter is this weekend. If you still don’t have plans, we have a couple of great options. Whether you’re looking for a decadent brunch or just a place to pop in for a special bite, we’ve got you covered. Here’s where to have Easter brunch in NYC this weekend.
Raf’s
Raf’s is a city favorite for it has a homely-meets-upscale Italian feel. You may know them for having elegant cakes, or it may be your go-to Italian spot. This weekend, Raf’s is where to have brunch in NYC with the prix fixe Easter brunch experience. A $95-per-person meal serves three courses. To start with, you get a bread basket with your choice of oysters, yogurt, or vol-au-vents. The entree course offers a choice between lamb, mascarpone polenta, or tilefish. And for dessert, there is an option of Torte di Carote or Rhubarb Lemon Tart. Each dish brings a complex blend of flavors and ingredients.
Scarpetta
Scarpetta is known for the way it has perfected simplicity and elegance. They don’t have to throw in a bunch of bells and whistles to ensure a good meal and a great experience. However, for Easter, they have with an Easter brunch prix fixe menu. They also have a special chilled lobster salad, a Cavatelli pasta dish, and a special sirloin entrée and specialty co*cktails round out the menu.
However, they’ve also introduced homemade chocolate eggs of which one is filled with a distinct color indicating the winner. The recipient of the special egg receives a $500 LDV gift card. For this alone Scarpetta is a go-to for where to have Easter Brunch in NYC this weekend.
The Mark
Easter morning should be filled with sweets. The Mark understood the assignment, with a $168 per person 3-course prix fixe featuring options of buttermilk pancakes, fresh pastries, and butterscotch pudding during each respective course. Other options include Crispy salmon sushi, Eggs Benedict, and Avocado toast. They also have classic options like Beef tenderloin and Maine Lobster. For a prix fixe menu, the options are remarkably (pun intended) diverse. Easter brunch at The Mark is guaranteed to please the whole family.
Brasserie Fouquet’s
A long weekend might not be enough time to make it to Paris, but you can at least make it to Brasserie Fouquet’s. You may not be staring at the Eiffel Tower, but at least you’d be glad to get off the streets of NYC. Fouquet’s has an elegant and refined ambiance. The $160 prix fixe menu features classics like French onion soup and Lobster Benedict. A buttermilk fried chicken french toast might remind you you’re in the States, but will likely not be an offensive addition to your brunch table.
